Fool's Philosophy - by Nate Bartling

10 Classic Bush Quotes

October 20th 2006 12:21
I did write lengthy article which I was going to post today but unfortunately my electricity ran out before I saved it and I lost it, so I decided to post some classic Bush quotes while I go about the arduous task of re-writing my original post.

We know that dictators are quick to choose aggression, while free nations strive to resolve differences in peace.

By making the right choices, we can make the right choice for our future.
I think war is a dangerous place.

There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once -- shame on -- shame on you. You fool me, you can't get fooled again.

I have said that the sanction regime [against Iraq] is like Swiss cheese. That meant that they weren't very effective.

I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully

I think we agree, the past is over.

I want to send the signal to our enemy that you have aroused a compassionate and decent and mighty nation, and we're going to hunt you down.

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.

This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table.

Ah yes, that's my president. He represents me. I feel, uh...so stupid.

The Bush is a fool and a very dangerous man. Even his handlers seem to recognize that. They are just better at being criminal.

yes, Bush is a fool and a dangerous one at that. I dislike Bush and his policies as much as the next man (probably more so) but I find it extremely difficult to hate a man that makes me laugh almost everyday.
As a good friend of mine once said "If it was comedy it'd be genius, but its not, therefore it just sucks ass!"

..he's not my President..
I was given a little desk calendar 'George W. Bushisms'
My favorite is January 28th

'I think anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating.'

It is taped to my refrigerator...one day w/o thinking I put a banana sticker on the page...wasn't til later that I saw it was a Curious George sticker..ha! I try not to hate, but Mr. Bush pushes it a little too much..amusing or not.

Thanks for the comments

That reminds me of the time he claimed the enemy had 'misunderestimated the commander in chief'.
I suppose that means they tried to underestimate him and got it wrong...or something, its best not to try and make sense of it.

I love Bushisms. Sometimes if I'm having a rough morning with the kids, a good Bushism really gets me
laughing! 2 of my faves were: 'I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family' and 'Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country'.

Gotta love it!

Hi Miss Faith,

Hahaha 'Food on you family'! I cant believe I missed that one out.

Hi Julia,

Yes, he is a fool. It's a sad state of affairs when I actually hope there is a hidden hand controlling the gopvernment, surely you cant trust a man that stupid with the power of the US. Its like some tragic comedy, I dont know whether to laugh or cry.

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully"

I know frogs and human being can coexist.

But yeah. That quote is pure genius. Had to be scripted.

Hi Rosie,

Thanks for the comment.

That one never fails to make me laugh but I still cant figure out what the hell he is talking about! Does anyone know? I havent heard that quote in context and cant possibly imagine what point he was trying to make, if any.
