Fool's Philosophy - by Nate Bartling

Let's kill the costume party

March 11th 2008 17:53
Is it possible that the human body is the outer shell and that it was a thoughtless robot for our consciousness to control? If that was true, then there would be no race or sex, there would only be levels of consciousness, and further more, if our inner being was an intellectual being then where did these "parasites" that control the humans species come from. And what if right now, what I’m typing, is being written by the inner being that is controlling Nathaniel Bartling. If that’s the case, and I’m the intelligent factor in this relationship, then it would make sense that you should be able to transfer your consciousness to another animal, or even let it float freely.

I’ve been practicing astral projection for about a year now (if you don’t know about astral projection check it out. It could change your life) so I’ve learned that it is possible to take your consciousness out of your body. For those of you who have never heard of astral projection this probably sounds really strange, but check it out. So then why are humans the only ones that are allowed to have this consciousness. It doesn’t seem like they are any more deserving then any other animal. It now seems that they are taking advantage of the human body more and more these days, so maybe at some point there will be a mass group move another less capable host, or maybe that’s what happens when your human body dies.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand these are a lot of “what ifs”, but anything is just as possible as anything else, at least until they prove one way or another. Until that point though, take some time and feel as if your body is just your costume and not actually connected to who or what you are. I’ve personally found this can take away pain when something hurts, make you feel perfect when you are sick, stay alert when you are tired and so on. If you don’t let your mind think it’s a part of your body, then your body is left alone to deal with its own problems. The mind cant feel things like pain, that’s the body, so if you ignore the body and focus on the mind, the body has no back up way to contact your consciousness. Work on it and you can get rid of any sickness your body can throw at you.

Think about it.

What a really interesting concept. I'm not sure the mind can get rid of every illness though? What about a broken leg, or cancer?

Well I know this sounds weird, but those are things I have wanted to test, I think when people have miracles in the hospital and times like that, this could have a lot to do with it. I honestly think it's just putting your intentions out there into the universe will allow any thing you want to happen. So when you hear about different religions praying and having their prayers answered or what not, you could say it was them having their prayers answered, or then focusing on what they wanted to happen that made it happen.

Hey Nate, i finally got around to checking this whole thing out. This is a great topic, one i've contemplated frequently on my own accord. the medical connections are far beyond what conclusions i have come across, but you make a valid point, and in response to harry, i don't believe it could "heal" a broken leg, your body will do that on its own, but its not instantaneous, what your mind can do is tune out the pain when moving the leg will still hurt because conscious thought is put into the movement, but at a still point the pain will recede.

Hey Brian, Yeah the studies I've been doing are amazing to find out what is possible. You are right, if you think of the body as something different from who you are you can do an amazing amount of things. I've found even if you are drunk or under some other sort of inhibitor, you can just tell your self that your body is drunk and you can pull back into a normal state of mind with the only difference being that your body is still drunk, but you will stop talking like you are wasted and be able to carry on intelligent conversation no matter how much you drink. This can even help if you are tired or run down. I would suggest everyone tries this out for themselves to see how amazing it is.
